Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Snow?! 8c down here this morning. Very damp and waterlogged trail run again . Used new HRM which indicated that my level of fitness has dropped considerably over the last couple of years. Ah well...at least I'm plodding!
Rest day Mrsb? But rowing! Your punishment (!) certainly pays off though🤣🤣!

I am not a fan of rowing. Have to think too much about it rather so can't just zone out.

I can run in the snow, it's just when it's deep it can be a slog. Worse when it all turns to ice. I wanted to do some hillier runs but the snow is already very deep on the nearest ones. Will see how much we get but I would love a run at +5 degrees rather than -1/-2 degrees for once.

I do like rowing Mrs B, although yes you can't zone out. I use it as a warm up before core work. Can only do 30mins max. Think I have the technique nailed, would like to get faster.

I must do more rowing - especially since we bought a rowing machine! Problem is, in a choice between the treadmill and the rower, the treadmill is so much easier!

A nice dry sunny day which is typical on my rest days.

I've got a feeling that when gyms reopen, a lot of previous users won't return. More people seem to have their own equipment and can follow workouts on YouTube, Zvift etc.

Maybe there will be lots of secondhand gym equipment at sensible prices? I'd quite like to get my hands on a decent Concept Rowing Machine? :-)
