Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Morning. I did my virtual parkrun at 9.00. Didn't see as many other runners as I expected to, but those I did nodded or said hello.
Just back from the food shop - Aldi quite civilised, Tesco a bit hideous. No toilet rolls to be had - having resolutely NOT panic bought, we will probably run out!!

Sounds good route, TR, hope it’s more peaceful next time.

Thank you, MrsJigs :-) . Our children are now cautioning us, frequently, to be careful, to stay home, away from shops etc. It’s touching, this role reversal :-) not that OH is taking any notice. I’m glad your Dad is doing well, TeeBee, new hips must mean less pain. My parkrun route was useless, I was trying to finish with a final downhill mile & miscalculated, but the effort did me good.

Our local smaller shops aren’t running out of anything, the larger ones are a mess. We buy what fits in 2 bike panniers. (Only 2 of us, so easy & no parking) I worry for the people working in the chaos.

Morning (or rather afternoon now!)
Virtual parkrun done and the house cleaned, Shopped in town but need to brave the supermarket for a few key essentials including toilet roll! Will drop down and see Mum and Dad briefly on the way home and drop in Mum's present. Will keep my distance though. They appear to have taken the advice more serioulsy now and apart from their daily walks and early trips into town for newspaper etc are keeping to themselves. They will go slowly mad though, I fear.
I'm keeping off the news and Facebook as much as possible but will keep in touch here as Fetchies are generally positive and uplifting!

Gentle 6 mile run done - tough & cold into the wind, lovely coming back with wind behind & overheating. Was nice to get a dry run for the first time in ages.

Was a day of 'twos' - 2 horse riders, 2 cyclists, 2 gardeners, 2 hedge trimmers, 2 dog walkers.

Pics to share? Downhill through the woods thinking 'another few weeks and this will all be bluebells' before getting to a spot covered in wood anemones (I think).

Just got back from my virtual parkrun. It's really windy down here on the South Coast, but the sun is shining, hhuurraahhhh.

Quite a few other runners out & about & lots of cyclists as well.

Oh Um I think tomorrow I might have to go running up a big hill to the woods where I know I'll find wood anemones :-) Lovely pics.

2 hrs of loops in my local woods as I am not allowed to use public transport to play out further afield.

Lovely run but SO busy and some large groups of people, too. Will have to go out earlier or later in future. Making the most of being able to go outside while I can and such a dog's bumhole of a day. :-)

Said hello to everyone and got about a 50% cheery response. Everyone else was ratty as feck.

Been for a run and a walk. Tried to keep a reasonable distance but had a lot of people leaping out of the way or crossing the road to avoid me. One other runner said hi. Most didn't acknowledge me at all.
