um
Today was a bit special - not really intended, but my first half-marathon distance of the year. Well, on my feet in the day, ie
0.8 mile walk to the village shop and back (milk & paper)
6.9 mile run
5.5 mile NF walk with the new lens

Have soaked in the bath and hope I may be able to repeat something similar tomorrow. Still a way to go to get back to the 700 mile running line.

That new lens ...

And deer ... like this (yesterday in the last few mins of sunlight) from probably 2-300 yards

Today's run was 5k with my daughter :-)
Those in the know will realise how big a deal that is. First time since December I think.

Hurrah for Mrs Photoset! I hope she gets over her nerves soon and stops worrying about what she looks like.

That is great Groundhog heart

And well done Mrs Phil!

My teens complain of not being able to exercise right now. Then I suggest running and they make a snorting noise of disbelief. I’ll stop suggesting it :)

I love those photos :-)

I'm looking at low-carb diets :-( My annual blood tests have yet again come back with raised HbA1C levels and so next week I have to have the annual 'chat' with the diabetes nurse* and GP (I'm eternally 'pre-diabetic' :-( ) and I suspect my creatinine levels are suspect again (they usually are :-( ) If I go low-carb maybe I can avoid this annual rigmarole (and be a bit healthier!)

There seems to be lots of stuff around on t'internet and indeed on Fetch, so there's no excuse for my not cracking on with it.

*Last year I cycled there in my cycling kit. When I entered her room she said 'Oh! You're not my usual sort of patient!'

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed, sometimes even running.
