Great news GH

I too need to seriously look at my diet and change things before I go from pre diabetic to diabetic.

Walked almost 8 miles over 3 walks with the dog today, my foot isn't happy

LD I follow a generally low carb diet. It's good to experiment and with it what suits you - everyone has a different relationship with their diet. There is certainly no one size fits all. Hapy to talk to you about it any time. Another approach is intermittent fasting. You could try that first - I've noticed benefits from just limiting my food intake to between 10am and 8pm.

Good news, GH.

I have been for my first run as a 68 year-old. I'm still striving for that WAVA=50 in a training run badge.

If I'd logged the Cambridge Fetch Mile as training instead of a race last December, that would have got it for me, with a WAVA of 50.85. That was a mile in 9:40. Today's 2+ miles was at 11:51 pace and scores a WAVA of 46.45. So 2:11 per mile difference only makes four and a bit WAVA points?

Perhaps I'll go and run a mile on our local track again and SMASH 9:40.

WOW: Fetch has given me the halfacado badge for getting > 50% on a training run today. Surely something has gone wrong.

I'm always giving this badge back when I log cycling as running.

:-) same here, ChrisHB. heart your posts, Groundhog, made me smile. LD, a very harsh year for you, time & energy consuming too - the usual swim bike run Flossie-walking gardening routine probably took a considerable hit, & soon you’ll be running round after the grandchild as well. Commiserations to the injured. Morning all, bit early for long posts, never mind, nice new lens pics, half maras & 6 milers too :-)

:-) that’s brilliant, so close! Quiet on here, but is it possible to change the split distances on logs? Mine seems to be set to about 25 metres & I can’t put it to kilometres any more

Ferret - there's a drop down in the pace section - initially set to .0625 miles. Change that and it is also applied to the splits
