Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The slugs got mine :(

There are two small ones growing under one of the bird feeders, but I don’t think they’ll come to much.

Here we are - this one is looking over the garden wall

From the other side

And then I've got these ones (in Pots) that look over the neighbours fence on the other side of the garden

Nothing for me this year. Germinated ok, looked half decent when I planted them out, but have never appeared through the mass of wild flowers. With hindsight, placing a sunflower themed bird feeder on the fence behind that bed might have been a mistake?

Top growing Chris :-)

The Sunflowers I was growing in the front garden dropped after the rain last week. And one of the heads has gone missing.

It's either squirrels or a neighbour fancied some free seeds :-)

Hi, bigleggy

Was wondering if this is happening this year? I forgot to buy any last year but I happened to be in a garden centre with my mum this morning and remembered to buy a couple of packets of seeds.
