It's raining heavily here as well, so I took advantage of another wind disturbed night's (lack of) sleep and went for my final distance run pre-dawn before the rain arrived. 12 miles with the middle 10 at 8:15-8:25 pace which went well . The last couple of miles were in spots of rain, the heavy stuff arrived 1/4 hour after I got home

A lovely 8 miler in perfect run conditions except being attacked by a dog at 4 miles. The owner got to it before I could get to it so I verbally attacked the irresponsible owner. If you can’t control a dog, either put it on a lead or get a cat. Spoilt the run as I wanted to punch someone after that! Ho Hum.

Hello, here I am! Took a bloody long time to get home and dry out. It rained and it rained the entire race, bit of a joy-killer, but the support from the lovely people of York and its environs was outstanding, even in that awful weather.
Your lad has a good view of the finish straight, doesn't he, DocM?
OH ran a storming 10 miler, coming 168th out of 3,000+ in 70:29!
Hope you all managed to enjoy your soggy running, people.
