Well done Ian, with a name like that you know it has to be tough, that is a fair bit of climbing!!!! 💪

Last long run today, definitely benefited from the rest day yesterday, loads of wind and rain which seemed to be against us the whole way

IanS's race sounds a little bit tougher than the hilly 10k trail I did!

Goody bag contained: 2 pairs of running socks, 2 High5 gels, 2 milky bars, a Jointace gel, a 75ml Ladival suncream (expensive is this stuff) and a bottle of water. Not bad for a little local race costing £9.50! Also I managed to bag 2nd lady and got a £10 voucher so made 50p on my race fee investment :-) Don't think I'll pack the day job in just yet though.

Well done Pikelet, sounds like a great local race.

Love the Captain America theme 👍

Not been on here much due to lack of much running.

However, I have been doing lots of (dirty word on here) cycling, 3,000 miles in 3 1/2 months. That must have been good base training because this morning I managed to run a hilly 13.6 miles trail race without too much difficulty although I wasn't racing it :-).

Jono.
evening

9 miles this morning - then a drive down to Wolverhampton to see mom and sister.

Drove Molly J's little Kia down there as Sister fitted a camera (she's quite good at hiding cables - I'd have broke something) - back home in time for molly to drive to work and for me to have Sunday lunch (mixed grill :-0 shaking things up, back to traditional next week)

well done IanS and the rest of you lot :-)
