Nice work Bonners

Bit of a chill in the air here. I'll take the dogs for a run.

Felt a bit fresh this morning leaving for work. Hope it feels a bit warmer for club tonight.

morning - no work for me today, so later Mrs J is treating me to a trip to Sainsbury's in Upton (Upton is a bit posh, but every time we go there the Police are there or the security guard is eyeing someone up), its got a good veggie section.

THEN New Brighton and chips for lunch.

6 miles jog this morning - beautiful sunrise over Liverpool.

Bloody cold in the Fens, looked like there may have been a ground frost #glovesareon

So how do you train for Snowdonia in the Fens, does it involve a lot of running up and down stairs?

You got sorted didn't you, as the injured/selling posts are starting to flood in

bonners, I'm lucky, although it does involve multiple reps I have a number of 'hills' in Ely. In fact I've been surprised at the amount of ascent I'm racking up on my bike just by cycling around Ely.

And it will come as no surprise, the uphill is relatively 'easy', it is the descents that is the killer for a Fenland dweller, the quads are just not as adapted as folk that live in the Fells.

Yup, you can tell the fell racers in the local road races, they're generally the ones in front as they're all such strong runners.

I have a go myself, but I don't have the nutter gene. Look up the Tryfan Dash on YouTube. One of my mates did it this year (one of only five entrants) and almost died getting to the start line😁
