But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. I'd estimate that there are about 10-15 ringers above you in the bottom divisions Minimag, so maybe about 4-5 weeks before you start moving up - but then you should see some regular promotions.

I decided to stay in D14, so I reckon I've got about six weeks to make hay before the ringer tsunami come charging past :-)

I went up a division :-)

Not sure the badges are working though :-(

In notifications it says I got a badge but doesn’t name it and the link doesn’t work

I went down a division even though I was bottom of the 24th bottom division 🤣

I haven’t moved. WW is now in the promotion zone of Div 16. I definitely made a mistake!

I haven't moved, but before the badge exodus I would normally have dropped from the bottom of Div 15 to the top of Div 16. Instead I find myself just above the relegation zone for Div 15. I'm in no state to improve any of my race times at the moment though, so it doesn't really matter.

That’s odd. I thought I remembered seeing enough people drop out and rejoin to put me in the promotion zone in Div 7, but I’m still in 7 (as in, I decided not to leave and rejoin because I was on course for a badge anyway). Oh well. A few seconds pb at parkrun this weekend would get me back in the promotion zone.

chunkywizard it’s a bit of a bug - you should not have had a notification. Badges for reaching D20 and above.

Start in the bottom division, and compete over seven different distances against your rivals for weekly promotion!

How It Works
1) The game takes your best times from training and racing over the last 12 months.

2) If you've got the fastest 5k in your division, you get 20 points. If you're second fastest, you get 19 points, etc.

3) Your FIVE best scores are used to calculate your total. So if your scores at each distance are 20,20,20,20,20,10,5 the lowest two are discarded, and your total points would be 100.

4) Promotion and relegation happen every Monday at midday.
