Thanks all - given the possible 3 hour wait I was very lucky to get back in (although I was meant to be going out!) in about 40 mintues. Dog minder turned up and apologised for taking so long - some people are too nice!! Off to dog training now - and they're not even my dogs (I provide the lift - as long as I don't lose the car keys, of course)

Ds2 is rather diva-like at parkrun, requires lots of walk breaks and jollying along and bribing with cake. Though his body clock is shifting so soon he might not be up anyway. Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
