Meglet
I stood on the corner by the pump rooms for the ladies TT (2nd last corner). It was raining but not as bad as earlier, they were very careful going round the corner, and many took quite a poor line. The only one who really nailed it was Chloe Deigert, the winner. Then had a fun evening watching live Zwift racing, including Georgia Taylor Brown, Scott Thwaites, Phillip Graves and Conor Swift. Sadly Conor’s bike broke at the start. Scott won, averaging 452W for 20 mins. Today I’ll be joining my club in Ripley to shout at the men! |

Misty this morning Meg, there was a hint of rain as I got to the top of the A59, I hope it holds off a bit today.

For those that haven't seen it ... bbc.co.uk Don't they see the standing water and try the other side of the road? Or just 'hope' they get through OK? |

We were at a q&a between the two races yesterday and someone who had ridden was there talking about it. He said that because you're so in the zone you are not looking far ahead and concentrating on taking the fastest line so they don't really have enough time to change course once they spot it.

I overtook Scott Thwaites on a hill on Friday (he was riding with the slow group on our ride then switched to the fast group at half way and was very good at keeping to the pace that the group felt comfortable with and chatting away to everyone)

You sort of hope it will all be ok, definitely how we think as amateurs on open roads but safe to say this would have been cancelled 9 times out of 10
