I generally fill up my tank on site to reduce weight whilst travelling, so have never really considered water type and potential for causing scale.

we always travel with at least 1/4 tank - often first night is off-grid or if on site I'm not always in the mood to faff around loading water after a long drive - and we turned up to Braithwaite to find their taps all frozen one time

Don't think I need to worry about scale in Scotland? On a £10 per night aire in Cullen. Nice walk today followed by coffee and cake. Chip shop supper and an early night planned. Got my ice cream! |
