Another finals day flop, and against Somerset for the second year running. Can't believe that we had them in trouble at 7-3, then contrived to throw it away. It's not been a good week against this opposition. |

Surrey must have one the most local batting line ups of any county ever in terms of distance from being born to the County HQ Dan Lawrence - Walthamstow - 15 miles from the oval Sibley - Espom - 15 miles from the oval Pope - Chelsea - 3 miles Jamie Smith - Epsom Rory Burns - Espom Laurie Evans - Lambeth - less than 2 miles |

Well, that's been our eighth finals day appearance since winning the inaugural T20 Cup in 2003 and the wait for a repeat continues. I thought that the winners will emerge from the first semi-final, so Somerset to retain the trophy in my opinion.

I’m going to try not go get cross and shout here. WALTHAMSTOW WAS IN ESSEX UNTIL 1965. IF LAWRENCE IS CLAIMING TO BE A NATIVE $URREYPERSON HES EVEN LESS HONOURABLE THAN I THOUGHT. WHICH IS NO SMALL ACHIEVEMENT. |
