Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well if I’d have guessed every one statistics say I’d have got 4, possibly 5 so I shouldn’t have bothered even trying.....

14... I spend far too long reading odd articles. I thought Caddick for most 90s wickets but I guess some were in the 2000s on reflection. Remember Athers calling the journo a buffoon. Slightly pessimistic about how many ashes tests we won in the 90s!

The Hundred has been postponed until 2021. I can't say that I'm disappointed as the T20 is already a successful short version of the game albeit 20 balls more.

6/12

In my defence, we were on holiday during this Test and I was slightly pissed in the beer garden of The Pity Me Inn during the final afternoon.

Went for a stroll on the final day, from the campsite at Polzeath, up the golf course to the Pityme Inn and back. Stopped at the Bear Bar in the club house half way up the hill.

Brief moment of hope while Root was batting well. Couple of wickets fell though, so we moved on.

By the time we were sat in the beer garden at the Pityme Inn, all hope was lost. Until, well, you know.... Jack Leach :-)

Here is mini Nico celebrating with burger and fries from the excellent outdoor food shack in the beer garden. Happy days.

The walk back down the golf course was slightly "zig-zaggy"
