Oh my! That picture
Wanda has become more dog reactive since lockdown. We had overcome a lot of this and she had a few canine friends one of whom would even get left at our house if her owners had to be out for longer than they could leave her but of course that's not happening now, we don't see dogs she can 'meet' on our walks very often and there are no classes where she can engage with other dogs. We had taken so many steps forward with her but in the last seven weeks have gone back by a much greater amount. Hopefully she will be able to get her confidence around other dogs again more easily when we are able to meet people and dogs again.

That's a real shame BBL . As you say though hopefully she will regain her confidence quickly once this is over

Baroness: is Wanda 'interested' when there's a dog, or several, on the TV? 'The Dog Whisperer' is regularly shown over again on Sky One. I know it's not the same by any means but...

Sadly no she isn't at all interested in dogs on TV. swittle, although that might be an idea if she was. She only really likes watching football! Even when we've watched the agility or other dog sports at Crufts where there is a lot of barking going on she takes no notice and as for Paul O Grady's Battersea programme she tends to leave the room!!!!!

Charlie seems more reactive, as in barking more, these last few weeks. I’m not sure why as we’re both always at home and we live in a quiet area. I think there must be more wildlife about - the pigeons are driving him nuts and he turned up with a dead rabbit a couple of weeks ago. I still can’t work out where that came from. I’d almost guarantee he didn’t kill it. He’s good out on walks but ridiculously noisy/jumpy when someone or something enters his garden!

Wazelle the Gazelle
Yoshi is loving lockdown. Most days I run with her. If the parks aren't too busy, I take her in and she has some off lead time. Mostly she loves having all the humans home, so she doesn't have to worry about us. She is getting a bit more barky, running to the back gate especially when foxes pass . Black Russian Terriers are supposed to be territorial and good guard dogs, but she hardly barked at all for the first 2 years and stayed very close to us. I think having the humans home full time is making her feel more confident.
