I love this .. made by a friend. Saw it for the first time today. With time I might learn to be a good sewer/ quilter... but sadly I will never be an artist

Lovely work - reminds me a bit of Janet Bolton's stuff.

Love the bag.

I saw an alternative pattern for a face mask and tried one this evening. A little more fiddly that a normal one but this version seems to stay in place and has plenty of room inside. Will give it a proper try in a shop before I make any more.

It’s here for anyone interested

Thanks meglet. I used a pattern from jaycotts for a calico tote bag. that’s my second one forgot to take pic of first. My first french seems for umpteen years, and I did the star before putting the bag together, my first attempt I had to hand stitch a big M to the front but my pals are both pleased with my efforts.

I have some cotton I bought because I like the print, but I can’t think what to make with it apart from another skirt. A bag might fit the bill.
