Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Which is what I must remember to do this autumn. Perhaps someone will be kind enough to remind me.

I went into my garden to plant some more of my potatoes before the rain forecast for tomorrow. Some main crops -a few King Edwards and a few Cara.

Of course, to plant them I had to dig up some raspberry plants which keep spreading everywhere.
Then I kept spotting muscari growing in the wrong places, as were some bluebells, so I had to dig up those as well.
Lots of tidying up occurred as well. Having gone out for only the half hour it should have taken to plant the potatoes, I didn't come back indoors until 2 hours later! :-)
A bonus was that as I was making my way back, I saw a nice surprise - a white fritillary :-) . My snakeshead fritillaries flower very intermittently so that one was nice to see.

Like you Fl I planted another row of main crop before it rains and did a little tidying and mowed the lawns. Funny how one thing leads to another! :)

Seems to be par for the course with gardening.

My Christmas cactus has decided to make a gesture in the direction of being an Easter cactus. Just one solitary flower.

My teeny-tiny daffs are just coming into flower. I can’t remember the variety but they are so cute :)

Fizz :-)
We have some like that :-) I think ours came out of a mixed bag that were supposed to be white, so I can’t help with the variety.
