Obviously we have things like F. magellenica that are quite hardy and have spread all over frost-free places like the Isle of Man and Cornwall, but the rest of them will play dead until there's absolutely no chance of a frost.

I've got seedlings on the windowsills that have sprouted much quicker than I expected in the warmth of the past few days that I think will have to go and live in the greenhouse to cool down a bit and get properly established.
