I don't think a christmas abduction is too far fetched - the inflatable santa appearing outside Henry's window overnight (and being quickly dismissed as drunken behaviour) was an ominous sign....

I've always felt sorry for Ruarhi. He gets precious little attention from Brianor any of his siblings. You'd think that in the school holidays he might have hung out with Freddie but he seems permanently locked in the cellar
I think he might go to university in Ireland, conveniently, and then come back to claim his share of Home Farm when Brian goes to the great herbal ley in the sky.
I fear something awful will happen *after* Christmas. Don't forget, it's Henry's birthday on Jan 1st. Christmas will be a big sigh of relief and then...

I have a lot of catching up to do.
I always feel sorry for Rhurai/ Rurai/ whatever, being packed off to boarding school, and no one ever seems very pleased when he comes home either. I don't know why, he can't possibly be as annoying as Kate and Alice.
