I bought my first proper Amp from Richer Sounds in 1987. 36 years later, and itโs still in daily use - stashed out of sight behind my desk and handling the audio from my computer.

As long as the thermionic valves inside are happy working at that angle, what's the problem?

As long as the thermionic valves inside are happy working at that angle, what's the problem? I would imagine there's a hi-fi company happy to sell you a 'thermionic valve balancer' to solve the problem though. Or for the true audiophile, we have this this upmarket version which will monotonically reduce distortion and optimise speaker cone motion, only double the price. And perhaps some of this premium, oxygen-free, cryogenically pre-treated audio quality tape to replace that yellow stuff you have wrapped around the connectors sir?

I have really good speakers. My late nephew turned up years ago with really good cables and installed those for me... Wow! Just wow! I had cheap cables and changing them for me transformed the sound.
