Velociraptor
The knowledgeable chaps in Richer Sounds in Birmingham, ca. 1990, stirred up domestic warfare by encouraging my then husband in his belief that a domestic sound system had to consist of an individually chosen turntable, cassette player and CD player, each from a different brand, and a load of ugly wire-trailing speakers mounted on the wall around the room. I already had a PERFECTLY GOOD three-in-one Sony music system from Curry's that fitted neatly in a corner of the living room.

Hah music centre. “Radiogram” was a much better, self-descriptive word.

Hah music centre. “Radiogram” was a much better, self-descriptive word. Got to love a Radiogram in a teak finish. True 60’s chic! 😀
