Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Ran the updated course for the Helsby / Four Villages HM over the weekend. If you've run it before you'll know it's not flat. But due to moving the clubhouse they've had to take a short cut at about 8.5 miles and that's a bit steeper than the old climb from the Mouldsworth motor museum was. You've been warned ;-)

Official results aren't up yet.. delays to the start, people complaining that all the beer was packed away by the time they finished the marathon. Big queues due to ridiculous airport style security.. which they then ditched because so many people were still waiting to drop their bags with less than 15 mins to go..

Oh lovely. Steeper Hills than before.

Need to enter this.

Monsenb1 I paced at the 1st RnR mara in Liverpool and it was badly organised and made me think I'd never do another of their events.

To be fair it's not that much steeper, but it did make me work a bit harder than I'd wanted to yesterday!
