larkim nice to see you too. Nadders (aka monsenb1) was with me too. You went by so fast I’m not sure you heard him say hi too. He’d done the 10k and I’d been shouting abuse, I mean, encouragement. I didn’t run as my running is gold plated rubbish atm |

Ha! Yes, I was in the last 2 miles of a 10 mile MP session, last of the plan, so no time to stop and say hello! I've had that Fetch top for about 4 years now and I've never ever bumped into someone either in a race or outside of one where that t-shirt has been the reason someone has recognised me as a fetchie; and if you'd not had your hoodie on I might have just assumed you were giving someone else a shout!! The fact that that race was on took me by surprise; I'd brought my son up to NB for a rugby match, and as the dutiful parent I am I simply ditched him at the club and went off for my scheduled run looking forward to the pan flat of New Brighton as ideal prep for Eryri (Snowdonia) marathon in a couple of weeks!! |

I believe that since they started referring to national park by its proper name, Elyria, they also made it flat so NB was the perfect training run, honest. I may soon* be living in the 4th Welsh national park or on the very edge of it. Not actually looked at the proposed area but as the highest point of the Clwydian range, Moel Famau, is about 5 miles from my doorstep then it’s got to be close. *I use this word loosely. No doubt the wheels of national parkdom will turn slowly |

Ah, that's perfect. A flat Eryri marathon in sunny, cool conditions sounds perfect. New Brighton was ideal then! Funnily enough Moel Famau was our alternative option yesterday, but rugby timings would have made that a bit of a rush. |

Total rubbish as I didn't spot the auto incorrect of Eryri
