Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I did the RnR half a couple of years ago and absolutely hated it, although that wasn’t really the organisers fault. Did you say it was the last marathon?

I've done the RnR half 3 times and the RnR marathon twice. As an event, I must say enjoyed them all.. I like the fact they give you a proper beer at the end, I like the medals, I like the route better than the btr route, even though it is similar in most aspects.. by going down Matthew Street and Penny Lane it really makes it more special (and in the marathon visiting Anfield and Goodison Park). I like the bands every mile.. but there have been a lot of problems and they gave up this year as it is their final event.

Really enjoyed this one, the weather was grey at the start but improved as the race went on.. I ran around with Sushi, its becoming quite a tradition, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Also saw snogard and she joined in the fun afterward, which included eating flapjack, drinking eggnog and trying to reenact a scene from the iconic running move, run fatboy run.. all that and 10 miles running before lunch...

Sushi.
Nadders (aka monsenb1) it was fab.

Love this race and our tradition of running together.

You pushing me to a respectable time has given me the confidence to pushyself a bit harder in training again.

I'd definitely lost that after being ill.

Not seen any posts on here for a while, but having finally run into a Fetchie in the wild whilst wearing my t-shirt this feels like the right place to comment!

Sorry I couldn't stop Sushi but nice to say a fleeting "hi" nonetheless!!
