I feel that one, I am always being told I'm daft for running in the dark on my own, I daren't say I've been in my local woods/fells and I don't go far off the beaten track (something I must start doing if I want to improve on the trails) You could always start with our merry group Rosehip... |

I've already offered my crewing / buddy running / support to fetcheveryone, but depending on if he wants my help, and direction people are heading, I might be able to offer support for others. happy to do a bit of night running :-D

thats great thanks Sam need to get together with my crew and find out our plans for route. We have a boat in Huntingdonshire (St Ives, but its a bit chilly to stay there in November) I think one of the girls parents are in Hertforshire so I suspect we'll go that way.

We've got a KatieB to help us, so if there's anyone without support, I'd understand if Sam wants to support them instead. I'll probably publish my/our route before the day too, so if there's anyone who wants to scare the shit out of us by popping out from behind a bush, there'll be plenty of opportunities |

Equally happy for you to tag along with me and my buddy RH - we'll be heading north and homewards.... with the aim of support and local knowledge as the 24 hours progress.

Official Meriden results posted, and I managed to travel the furthest of anyone... 10km real km travelled more than the winner, 10km less as the crow flies. Certainly not efficient! |

I've just signed up to do a 30mile section of this new challenge by Albion Runners.... albionrunning.org I know the fella that runs this if anyone wants more info/to add local knowledge/a GPX - I know he'd be grateful as it started as a bit of a conversation filler. |
