[It's in my contract to have it professionally cleaned AND the curtains AND the carpets AND the windows AND the oven. I did know that, but at the moment it feels like I'm doing a lot of work and spending a lot of money and the letting agent and the landlords are doing fuck all. Especially as they re-let it to the first people who looked round.]

I didn't know this person well, but some comments I'm seeing and hearing about make for slightly uncomfortable reading.

[Speculations I guess I_W]
[I felt my letting agent was doing f**k all for their money as my garden was a mess and they managed to miss the fact that damp was starting on a main wall, blind broken and just left along with a set of drawers which was also broken, and the property is supposed to be inspected every three months]

[ Maz. it's fairly normal. Hopefully it was cleaned to the same standard before you moved in? But yes in many areas letting agents do do f all for the money. We have one firm round here who are renowned for this and then being utter c***s too]

Why have the "corporate and social responsibility" team flown to Bermuda for a strategy session? To discuss ways to reduce the company's environmental impact and manage expenses.

Don't you bloody dare suggest that I just don't understand dog behaviour. I may be a first time dog owner but I know an aggressive dog when I see one. The fact your dog goes for mine every time we see you is a give away. Snapping, snarling and lunging is not friendly. An older dog giving a warning shot to a boisterous puppy that comes over to them is one thing, but your dog actively comes over to us despite my efforts to keep my dog as far from yours as possible. Not OK.

Diogenes
Mum didn't ring me saying she was feeling really unwell again.

Her neighbour (who had kindly popped in to check on her) didn't start telling me what I ought to be doing.

I can just sit here in my pyjamas watching Harry Potter films with Daisy.

I have already run this morning.

Glad to see the media in this country has its priorities right: vulnerable missing person and you couldn't give a fuck. A bit of victimless careless driving that you suspect is due to Über and you're all over it.
