Do RW keep up with dev versions? I've seen talk elsewhere that it wasn't a dev version but not confirmed yet.

I notice they mention the ASICS dev version in that article so that should confirm that Chepngetich was in the standard version. Very interesting.

Still, I'm beginning to wonder whether the reason I'm not getting world record times may not be down to my shoe choice after all, but because I'm old and worn out. Could I be onto something?

Is it because you're old and worn out? Would the going back in time to your youth help? I think we are all clear that the shoes help at the various levels. We likely don't have the recent records without them (and definitely not as fast). |

I don't think there's any shoe that would let me challenge the world record time for women who should theoretically be just as old and worn out as I am.
