Either way continues to confirm that On have stepped up their game. At least a couple of people have said to me that their spikes (the 10000 one) are better than the original dragonfly (there is a dragonfly 2 now). Kerr uses the 10000 one over the 1500 version.
K5 Gus Apr 2024 10:19am, 16 Apr 2024 6,120 posts	0 K5 Gus There's 2 dev shoes in the database LS Dev 1 and LS Dev 1.2 - they look almost identical (but could be differences in foam etc), the holes in the midsole in the photo looks more like Dev 1 than Dev 1.2 but no, it's not confirmed.
SPR Apr 2024 10:51am, 16 Apr 2024 43,988 posts	0 SPR The image you posted is a clearer one than SS had and is does look like Dev 1 to me but very hard to be sure (I was looking at the logo and Dev 1 seems closer to the sole and has transition that seem to match the DB. No laces is interesting, initially I thought it could be a zip up. Material would have to be pretty strong.

Not sure whether that's the first time in a major in the supershoe era (I expect it's happened in the women's race as Adidas have more top women from what I see). Will be interesting to see more on the Anta show (new development or same as what Bekele wore at Valencia).

If you view in desktop mode on your browser you can read the caption but I'll copy it here. Today I trialled the new #nike #streakfly2 and it was amazing! My honest opinion of the shoe follows: This is certainly a #race shoe, it now has a #carbon plate, and as a result there is a great energy return. This shoe is to be used for tempo, intervals and races. Not for jogging. Some of you may know i’m running the London Marathon tomorrow, I tried to do a “shakeout” run in these and it’s uncomfortable. These shoes have such a curve in the forefoot that you need to be shifting to get max use out of them. I then did a 7km run at 4’00/km and these were amazing. The only downside to these is that they feel like spikes, as a result it puts a lot of strain/pressure on your calf as you run on your forefoot (because of the shape). Other than that. This is an excellent shoe!

I did my previous 2 marathons in alphas (granted with disappointing results) but recovery was quite good. I switched back to vaporflys for London on Sunday and the time was better but I'm sure my legs feel worse.
