How many miles do you have on your 4%s now, Gobi?

I'd be a bit surprised if any 62 year old female runner is getting sponsored by Nike. But the 4% have been available for 120-130ish in the UK this year so if she makes them last then might not be too expensive.

I am in agreement with her account, but every runner is different and absorbs training differently.

It would be far too expensive for me to run in 4% all the time, but I'd do it if I could for same reasons she describes

I've done 800+ on my training pair (bought in 2018). The ZoomX now gives next to no return and the outsole is largely carbon plate, but I can't bring myself to retire them!

Managed to find a 15% code and quidco so should be just under £200 for some Next%.

It'll be interesting to see how they compare to the 4%. Just need to sell my old ones on ebay now :)

Does this have any real world impact on races mere mortals will be taking on? Could an officious local official set themselves up as illegal shoe monitor and crush someone's dream of a sub 1:50 half because they'd bought the "wrong" shoes?

I.e. is there anything on retail sale that would now cause an amateur to be breaking the rules?
