I have the Nike Dragonfly's. Only done part of one track session in them due to lockdowns.
They were slower over the 400m reps I was doing (around 65/66s) vs 64/65 compared with an aggressive "traditional" spike, but I think they will sing in the last mile of a 5000m.

Will hopefully be able to do a full comparison on 30 March!

In theory the more aggressive spike should be faster on shorter reps other things being equal and the new victory looks more aggressive than the dragonfly to me.
I did think about getting the MD800s a couple of years back but decided against it as my achilles was grumbling already and it wasn't worth the risk it would make it worse.

Dragonfly also looks too cushioned for the shorter distances but then the Vaporfly looks to cushioned for fast running as well, lol.

Has anyone tried the Zoom X Invincible or Zoom Winflo 7 seem to be good everyday shoe.
Plus they have Zoom Rival Fly 2 on offer.

Keep miss the second o on too!
I don't run in Nikes HOD, I'm presuming neither of those are supershoes or their closely related cousins?

I just want 2:44:59, I don't care how many technical innovations and bending of the rules it takes. I probably draw the line at an actual short-cut of the course or hopping on a bike though

I've run in Winflo, they feel ok but a touch on the firm side. I bought one pair and they didn't quite make the cut for me, so they are stuck on 20ish miles but I might go back and try them again

The time differences offered by new track spikes seem so marginal that I'm not sure they will be as controversial (as vaporfly have been) among the wider community. I expect a lot of chatter about them when WRs start tumbling everywhere at the next major global championships, and then a collective shrug.
A decent (but not elite) runner doing 8:30-9:00 for 3000m might see 10 seconds improvement at best - not in the same ballpark as what similar level runners have been doing to their times on the road
