Have spent the day with Mr Ness' family at a funeral of a BiL who had died suddenly last month. He'd not even reached his 66th birthday. Mr Ness really felt it today and is now taking the 'sod it' approach. He's planning on booking another holiday for the autumn and one next spring. He feels he wants to do things while we still can!

Paul o’Grady …. For normal people he’d only just retired really at 67

Get out if when you can

Mr Pix’s boss has worked with him ever since he started 18 years ago and has said keep him informed in a way that implied if he could get him redundancy he would. But no news on that for either of us so who knows. Would be good though!

I'd still do my yoga and herbal medicine without pressure to have to put in gardening hours and without "lack of money" stress...
