Can I just say that @GimmeMedals and her husband (and doggy) are a great advert for retirement as they cruised around the country in their motorhome. I was very envious! ![]() |

GimmeMedals
It’s been a relatively cheap month away (if you don’t factor in the initial outlay) - less than £1k for 28 days of site fees and fuel, for 2 adults and a dog. We don’t eat out often, so our food bill was about the same as it would be at home. We’ve had the added bonus of being able to meet up with Fetchies around the country on our travels 😊 It was my retirement dream to have motorhome holidays around the UK, after watching a programme in 2015 showcasing people who were doing it, so we made it happen. We got the big expense out of the way in 2017, whilst I was still working. We love our retirement life. |
