He applied to stay on at his company, so sounds like the redundancy example where the person is embarrassed to no longer be working. Or has so much personal stock invested in their job that without it they feel they have lost meaning or purpose. Sad. Think the agony aunt was a bit unfair. Yes, it's a form of deception, but not everyone is good at communicating openly. He needs help not just criticism. IMHO. ![]() |

Another life leveller. Been to parents for tea, walked home a couple of friends was in the local. Haven’t seen them in ages so went in for one. Chats as you do and it got to with what’s happened to Karen it makes you think and evaluate. Us erm what’s happened? Diagnosed with cancer and concrete lungs/heart. Shes a couple of years younger than me. It doesn’t look good. Gutted. |
