Same here, I have ISA- destined funds sitting in premium bond at the moment and would normally be ISA shopping this morning. Can stay were they are until after the new prize draw then will reassess.

Me too. I have "cash" waiting to go into this years stock invested ISA.

So that's £xx that's not being invested in the stock market. Therefore I am part of the problem, this whole crash is self perpetuating.

The latest in tone deaf hr policy changes today. With immediate effect the May and august bank holidays are mandatory out of our annual allowance.

About 20+ years ago we had bank holidays removed as mandatory apart from Christmas and new year. Easter came back as mandatory at covid lockdown.

Luckily I had three days I hadn’t yet planned. It also works well as I need the May time for other reasons and august adds on at the end of my summer holiday. Others will be caught out. And our contractors will have unplanned non working days.

Oh, and neither the ceo or head of hr announced, they asked managers to do so. Plus the rationale only applies to some roles and not all.

It’s almost like they want to piss people off.

I don’t have an issue with them being compulsory. We already have a north south divide in approach. Us Scot’s don’t bother with the while the English do always take them. but they should have told us in November. And it should have been properly done. It’s just incredibly poor.

Last Friday I had my 66th birthday. Today I’ve had my first part payment of my state pension 😀.

Mr jaks will be 66 in May next year so he has to wait until the July before he receives his.
