@lammo it's potentially that sort of project (Passiv House, upside down layout, small tricky site, and tight-enough budget). But we're neither of us attention-seekers IRL (and there's no other upside. Those folk on TV aren't getting paid a penny)

Great work PtB, will be great enjoying your creation after it’s completed. Always had a self build or renovation project as a retirement idea. Although I’m going in a different direction now there will be plenty to crack on with once the move to Devon happens: landscaping/rewilding, an annexe to spruce up for rellos/AirBnB. |

No promises, but I'd like to try to keep an occasional blog, and plenty of pictures, here on Fetch as we build. I always enjoyed Caterpillar's. Crutches TRO? |

A friend of mine did a Passiv haus build ptb. Amazing property now that it's done but they had quite a few challenges! If it's any use I could prob put you in contact. They are on a big travel in South America just now however!  G

Just for update: I was in Hawaii due to compete in Ironman world Champs. 6 days before the race rolled my foot on a run and broke 5th metatarsal in two places. Flew home early as I was advised it would likely need an operation that should be done within two weeks. I ended up watching the race at home on TV 😭😭😭😭. Gutted is an understatement. |
