BBC R2 is pretty poor a lot of the time, I agree. Too much yammering on about stuff no-one (at least, me!) is interested in between music. Mind you, I really didn't like Chris Evans or Terry Wogan much, so it's not recent phenomenon! I flip flop between Classic FM, Absolute Country, and assorted "Christian" radio stations in the car. In a weird kind of way, I find the adverts quite entertaining. I don't really listen at home at all any more except for the 6am news! |

Spotify is new radio. No ads, no chat, and only great music! I really don't ever want to have to "manage my investments". I need to find the lowest risk, lowest effort way of changing savings into income! G |

In other news, I pressed the button on my retirement notice period last week! I've pushed it on just into the New Year to ensure 2024 bonus gets considered and there will be no debate about a full 30 year's service either! @Sigh could I trouble you to tweak the date please? I still expect to leave the building before Christmas, but the official date is January 5th 2025. |
