lol If I leave in June I won’t be anywhere near the £12570 limit! Even if I only took 4-6 months off I wouldn’t hit the limit That tax could give me another month! |

That's right. My tax rebate wasn't huge but it helped pay for a new Garmin! 😉😂

Lip Gloss - there's a form on HMRC that you can fill out to reclaim tax refund. I finished work at end of the December, and reclaimed overpaid tax at the end of the tax year. Refund was very quick, just a few days. You have your P45 with all the details you need. Today is the end of the tax year. |

This should trigger your correct tax coding too, you might be paying too much tax on your pension perhaps.

Pix - I'm not sure if your trying to get a tax refund before the end of the tax year whether they will issue a refund. How can you confirm that you won't be working for the remainder of the tax year? I'm sure if you look at the form it will tell you in what circumstances they will refund tax. |

LG you need to ask! Otherwise the assumption is it will be sorted out with next employer Oh I never knew that thanks. I just thought my self assessment would sort it although right enough that wouldn’t be till next year. |
