As I understood it Southwold Books was properly independent but got some kind of support/backing/security/whatever from Mr Daunt and the Waterstones empire?

It occurs to me that the general public, they being people that 'aren't our sort', read an awful lot of books by a person by the name Martina Cole. The covers suggest they are Eastenders meets The Krays, and they look ghastly.

Has anyone actually read one? Should I do so 'for science'?

Little Nemo
I've read one GregP. It was just about readable but I wouldn't try another one.

I read Dan Brown. I'm not sure what more I can do for the thread.
