Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Why can't I read anything that Nellers has written without hearing it in my head in a Brian Blessed voice! :-)

Gooner (The Midnight Runner)
The theme tune was definitely crap but suprisingly I thought the story generally was quite good if a bit of an anti-climax with the Axion and rather predictable and Matt Smith, while nothing on Tennant did quite a good job. Shame they've had to bring back daleks and cybermen again, starting to get a bit tired now....

Ooooo,and Amy Pond....HOT!!! :)

Theme tune - bobbins.
New Tardis - underwhelming.
New assistant - very pretty - got a lot of the flame haired, pale compexion thing going on. I'm lookin' and I'm likin'.

New doctor - um, ok, but I thought his acting was a bit flat on occasion and lacked DT's intensity. Only time will tell.

The story was a bit rubbish and below par I thought.

Bobbins?

I was, for the most part, not expecting to like MS, but I did. - I'm sure that'll make his day. Difficult to introduce new doctor and new assistant in a oner but I think they just about managed it. One assumes the stories will get better though.

I liked it. Thought it was slightly darker than the smush we were given under Russell T Davies. Looking forward to more!

I thought it was terrific. Matt Smith was very good, and I reckon he was referencing DT in his performance so we got a bit of a feeling of continuity. The script was funny too. Most crucially however, the new assistant can act (unlike Freema Agyeman).

Liebling missed it yestaerday so I'll watch it again tonight with her on the BBC3 repeat :-)
