I also love Torridon/Beinn Eighe. There are few better days running than that. Did you scramble up to the true summit on Spidean Coire nan Clach or was the trig enough? :-)

Also love Torridon. Would like a really good weather day on Beinn Eighe as my climb a few years back was a real mixed bag weatherwise.

Beyond the trig NE. I can’t tick it off unless I’ve done the actual summit.

A cocker spaniel from Stonehaven has joined an exclusive group of canines who have reached the top of every Munro in Scotland.

Six-year-old Glen and his owner George Creighton have climbed 282 Munros across the country.

This is what the Cuillin thinks of me scrambling in fell shoes.

On holiday in Skye and we’ve had a day out with a guide.
Originally the guide had looked at Sgurr Nan Gillean via Pinnacle Ridge, then onto Am Bastier.
However with strong gusty south westerly winds forecast we drove to Glen Brittle camp site. The aim was Sgurr Alasdair with a traverse from Coire Lagan to The Cioch,
We made it to the bottom of the Cioch but couldn’t progress higher in the cloud, wind and rain.

We ended up reversing our route, scrambling up the gully to the north of the east buttress then descending the gully to Loch Coir a Ghrunnda and walking out of the squall back to Glen Brittle.
We didn’t attempt the summit, the winds were too high.
