Fulbourn is probably nicer in summer months as its 5 laps on grass, it is very friendly with small numbers, you will enjoy which ever one you choose Looby Loo

I usually stop off at Huntingdon because it's not such an early start and then the drive to Cambridge passes the time nicely but if there's going to be a pre Jingle mile Fetchtogether then I guess I'd better set an early alarm.

HellsBells Coldhams was our first choice when we were going by train as it’s near our hotel. As we now have the car it’s either Fulbourn for the F ( sad I know) or Story’s I do prefer smaller events but don’t love wet grass 🤣

I would expect Coldhams Common to be a bog at this time of year.

I should go to Coldhams Common and add another C to my collection. (The one tourist achievement I've completed is "Pirates", which is ironic considering I tend to give all matters piratical my po-faced glare.)

Both Fulbourn & Coldham's Common seem to hold up reasonably well in wet conditions, considering they're mostly grass. Certainly nothing like Milton where I was puddle marshall on more than one occasion. Fulbourn must have the only bit of vaguely sandy soil in Cambridge - seems quite well drained. And of course, if you do Fulbourn, you may get a double dose of RichHL, which can only be a good thing. Storeys Field is clearly the keep the shoes clean option though.
