Four of my sunflowers have now moved out of the greenhouse, due to height restriction. As far as I can see, only one is showing any inclination to flower yet. 6-7 feet or so.

Ok ok… 🤷🏻♀️
Discovered a farm up the road growing them for bird seed. They also let people walk around, pick stems and sell them for flower arrangements and sell small drinks and snacks, there is a kids play area there too.
I think they are making more for charity on that than the worth of the seed. It’s an amazing sight and lovely to be able to walk through them all

We need to measure ours again - they've passed ten feet since the photo I posted of me and .B. with the tallest one. Might make eleven. Ladder out after lunch!

Wowsers, Sharkie! What on earth have you been feeding them?
My tallest are sevenish - a couple of them have moved into a large pot together, sharing a big pole, for a last push. Still little sign of flowering.
Found a large snail on the back of a leaf - at about sux foot high! I was outraged.
