Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I have been to Draycote today and have the necessary paperwork and contacts to book use of the site. Basically as it is a charity event (I don't think we have to be registered) it is possible have the use of the site for free.

We will need to supply a risk assessment and our liability insurance certificate when we book it.

As a local I am more than happy to be a local pair of legs and do whatever is necessary here. Do we have a race director yet, and if so when and where can those involved meet up to start the ball rolling seriously. If someone has got a proforma or an example of race risk assesment as guidance I have some training and would be happy to prepare a site specific one.

Nice one JJ. I think we have the start of an event coming together. We ought to speak to Roger Wilkes (I think it was that Mick n Phil said) to (a) let them know what we're think of (b) see if we can borrow their risk assesment. Emergency cover too GLL - excellent. Can you borrow an ambulance! ;-)
