Looking at November time.
I like the idea of having the 10k, half and full all at the same time, especially if we start them full then 2hours later, half, then an hour and a half later the 10k.....

I suspect Mick will draw the line at pushing Phil for 100 miles flanker! How about you push him andMick runs by the side?
Ok. Serious hat on for a moment....
Saffron - do you really want to be race director with all that it entails? I was only kidding with that suggestion. Don't underestimate the job! Whilst we can all chip in there will be a lot of co-ordination required.
I was also being tongue in cheek about November but it might be a good month in that people won't be off on summer holidays immediately before or during and we might be able to get it sorted this year! Down sides are that it may be cold wet and windy.
Another important thing to consider is whether this is invitation only, in which case we don't have to put on such a grand show because we can manage expectations, or whether it is an advertised event. Given Mick and Phils popularity an advertised event could easily get away from us and turn into a disaster. Incidentally, as an advertised event people might wonder why we should do another race at Draycote whilst there is a perfectly good one already in Feb.
Does anyone know the Draycote race director? He would be an obvious person to ask for advice we ought to get in contact with him anyway so as not to tread on any toes.
By the way - I am not volunteering for race director!

Mr Flanker - your 100 miles-
As much as i think your a TOP guy, always have and always will - your humour and friendliness - and your running capability speaks for itself, and your still bubbly all the way, while a lot are knackered
but as far as 100 miles goes, you can Tweedly dum and tweedy dee off
