They were reintroduced at Rockingham, among other places, having been persecuted. They like rolling landscapes so Northamptonshire is perfect. The point I have reached has a turning into Sudborough which is probably nicer than this A road.

(I guess most of the traffic is routed down the "new" A55 nowadays. But I spent a long school summer holiday period taking this route every day to wire up computer networks in the High Schools of Anglesey whilst they were off - er, 36 years ago!) Still, I'll stick to this lumpy verge for now.
