But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. A virtual stickerbook, before anybody asks where you can get hold of one :-)

All regular Fetchies will be stickers, for you to collect (on an honour basis) as you meet them.

Just like any good sticker book, some of the stickers will be "shiny"s. So far I'm thinking that all the Member of the Month people will be shiny stickers, but also for things like:

1) logging over 10,000 miles on FE (364 runners now in that category)
2) logging over 200 race results on FE (172 in that category)
3) over 5000 posts in the FE forum (235)
4) over 1000 blogs (64)

Those numbers might change, depending on how many overall shiny's we get - but you get the idea. Any more suggestions?

The other suggestion was to build 'sets' - so for example, you could collect all the Bedford Harriers set, or all the Fetchies who have recorded a time from your local parkrun, or (starting to make more complicated code now) all the contributors to a particular thread or group.

Any thoughts?

do they have to verify that you met them? or is that the honour bit?

Will it be met since sticker book started? or since a certain time?

I think I have four of the shininess things. Nowhere near on the blogs but there must be some who have the full house of shininess.

Silver means you must have been around a while. The stars are for no. of miles, no. of races, no. of posts, no. of page hits, and no. of blogs. They turn from bronze to silver to gold depending on how many of those things you have.
The more gold stars the more time you spend either running or on here
