Kielder in October, good luck with that!

Been there in November and had sun, dreadful rain, freezing cold wind and 2 feet of snow and that was just onone day while pointing a camera at rally cars. Visited in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s, beautiful place and I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Saw the results just now, still a top 10 G got to give yourself a well done even if stuff happened.

At least the midges shouldn't be too bad in October. 1100 foot in 7 miles - you were bloody complaining about 600 ft in 5.5 miles at Newnham ;-)

I *think* I've somehow been roped into to doing something with the Newcastleton round of the XC Nats now.

But they were lovely descents. You had Han’s hole and Dymond’s Drop as well as Cottage Return
