So glad I took Chris' advice to leave when I did - we made the train with just a few minutes to spare! Next time I'll book a later train home:-).

On the train now. Could have done with an earlier one. I may be the icemaiden but it was a bit raw for me. We had a quick Wetherspoons, a look round Greene Market, a long bus ride in the company of a Belgian bun and Greggs coffee. And I was about warmed up. A dip into the British Museum for a while and a tea and a walk to Euston. The train is now ready to depart.

Similarly I cut it fine for getting to St Pancras for the train that I was booked on. After my meagre lunch of bitter twigs I was pleased that I made it with time to visit Pret a Manger for a lunch more appropriate for someone who has just run 16 miles.
Great to catch up with so many from TBC1 and other gatherings and also to make some new acquaintances. I'm home now and just about warmed up.

Still in the pub. Just had a lovely Irish coffee. OH is trying to explain the rugby to me. I'm a bit too tired to take it in.
