That bookshop is rather overwhelming, I'm not sure I could cope. I'd have to run past pretending I hadn't seen it.

Several Fetchies manhandled me past the door last TBC. At an earlier one I bravely fought off a challenge from Linds to force my way in first and get a copy of the Book Group book (Fahrenheit 451 I think)

The fastest McG runs in any TBC is when he spots that shop :)

I’ll not vote as my record of actually getting to these is one out of I don’t know how many. I’ll come if I can

That's a good opportunity to say - I was thinking this, being the tenth anniversary - should run the original route - but with some caveats. The original starts at City Hall/Tower Bridge and is 15 miles over 16 bridges. That's quite a tall order for some so I suggest a three-distance option

So I suggest

1. there's an early start at Tower Bridge - so 15 miles to Hammersmith
2. then meet up with anyone wishing a slightly later start around Westminster with about 10 miles to go
3. then meet up a bit later on still around Wandsworth with about five miles to go

I'm fine with 15 miles as thats a pretty decent training run at that time of year. What sort of pace do you usually bimble along at?

As one of the original participants I might be happy to walk the 15 miles but only if others want to. It would mean setting off at 08:00 or so.

I see I took 3:23 ten years ago and in the same month ran in Brighton, Loughborough, Yorkshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and Hastings. Some of those runs feel like yesterday.

I've got 15.87 miles, done in 3hrs 46 starting at 10am for that original TBC. I think I would have to reckon on 4 hours absolute minimum now.

I think a 10 miler might be more suitable for me this time.
