Hills of Death (HOD)
Thanks yet again to my team clear the best I cannot believe the other teams didn't recognise me I did get a 'Its HOD' for a suprised person.
In retrospect I would of been please with a sub 4 or a just above 4 (which it was) just p**sed off it was a 21 min positive split.
When I see Liz Yelling and Jo Carritt (Ironman well woman) had similar runs only quicker and if I've heard it was all going well till mile 16 again I've heard a 100 times. It's job done not as fast but I have another marathon in the bank that's 8 now.

Thank you all for being there :)...took me much longer than planned to get to 22....injury was agony from 8 miles. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement and sympathy! I eventually finished in 6 hours 9 mins...almost an hour outside my PB:(

But you finished and on a day like yesterday, that's achievement enough; a hard day for 26.2 miles.... well done !

Thanks for the support. We are just home now and I still have my t-shirt on. It was a tough one but I finished and I feel very proud! Thanks for the wonderful Fetchpoint - it made me pick my feet up when I was beginning to flag. Love to you all

You should all be very proud of yourselves to complete a marathon in those conditions!
Next year I hope to be looking at Fetchpoint from the other side of the barrier - after 5 years of waiting!! I will wear my Fetch vest with pride ....
